New Look and New Pad

As you can tell I changed the template of kungfujoe.com. The old one had some weird formatting problem and instead of taking 4 hours out of my life to figure it out, I just set a new template. I think this one is a little more legible anyways.

Now for the really exciting news, we're moving into a new place. We found this duplex in Westminster that we both really liked and decided we have had enough of living with other people. I'm not exactly sure when the move in date is but it should be around the beginning of the month. The place is a 2 bedroom and has it's own fenced in yard for Rocky. Jenn and I already have some ideas of what to do with the place and we can't wait to move. Sometime in August we're going to have a BBQ and show everyone the new pad.

1 MORE YEAR! ONE MORE YEAR!

Well everyone, Gordon and I just celebrated our one year anniversary! We started the weekend by going to see X play at the Orange County Fair. I have to say they were great! It was a "Welcome back to Orange County" concert for me. I ran into a couple of people that I haven't seen in awhile and it seemed like old times, going to gigs and always running into people you know.

Saturday, Gordon and I took off to Solvang and spent Saturday and Sunday there just relaxing. It was so nice to get away from the chaos of back home and just chill and be alone. Sunday night we came home, saw Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and then went and had Shabu Shabu. I have to say, that I do love the original movie the best, maybe just because I saw it as a kid and had a child’s memory seeing it for the first time but this movie was cool also. Shabu Shabu was good but for the price we paid for just two of us, we usually feed six people or more at home when we do it.

Our friend Bryan is down from Portland, he is touring with a band at this moment, so we went and picked him up last night at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood where his band was playing. They were playing with CKY and if anyone has ever watched Viva La Bam, they were celebrating Phil's Birthday and we saw Phil and Ape hanging out in the crowd.

Gordon and I are now officially trying for a baby. We just got medical insurance this month and we are trying. So hopefully I will have a post up here one of these days with some great news!

Gordon and I are also looking for a place right now and put in an application to a duplex in Westminster over by the old Highway 39 on Beach & Trask. We are really hoping to get this. If we do, I will write some more about it.

That's all the news for now, I will keep everyone posted on the apartment and baby results if they come up.
