Update

Well, it is the end of May and I have been at my job now for a month. I can now say that I absolutely love it here. The poeple that I work with are awesome and the job itself is pretty simple, except for those few moments of stress that you would get from any job.

I had many of you praying for my mom because there was a moment that the Dr.'s thought that she probably had cancer. At this moment everything appears to be fine but she still has some final tests to confirm her existing health.

In July Gordon will be getting insurance and it can't come soon enough, we are really looking forward to trying for a baby, as for now the practice is just fine with me. Heehee.

In June, Gordon should be finishing up his California courses for the Real Estate Appraisal and will be looking for an apprentice job after that. Right now he really hates it where he is at. Our former boss from Prosoft, Jud, who got him the job at this new company got layed off a couple of weeks ago and this week the CEO of Gordon's company resigned, it looks as if the company isn't doing so well and Gordon feels the friction throughout the office and I am sure it is real uncomfortable.

We are still at my mothers and saving money for the move out in a couple of months, we are in no hurry right now because we want to make sure we have a nice cushion of extra funds before we move out. The price of rent has really freaked us out, especially living in Oregon for two years with rent only being $525 for a two bedroom.

For those of you who always ask about Rocky, well he is doing fine. As soon as we moved back he started breaking out in allergies. He not once had an outbreak of allergies up in Oregon. I really don't know what it is down here that makes him like this but I feel bad for the little guy. He is now on allergy medicine and gets a cortozone shot every so often.

Memorial weekend is this weekend and so far we have nothing really planned except for tomorrow I will be going down to San Diego for my friend Maria's Pampered Chef party. It's a good excuse to get my but down there to visit her, I am so lazy about calling or seeing people and with that said I apologize to anyone who thinks I have been neglecting them, don't feel left out, please, I really haven't hung out or spoken to a lot of people since I have been back.

Comforts of Home

Well everyone, Gordon and I have been back in Cali for almost two months now and we are finally settled in. In spite of almost all our belongings being in storage, we are quite cozy at my moms. As everyone knows, Gordon started a job at CS&O the first two weeks we were down here. I recently started a job at a company called Admit One Products, (admitoneproducts.com). It’s a ticket company that customized event tickets for companies or personal use. You should check out the website, it’s pretty cool.

I am a receptionist for right now at the front, which is really a great change of pace since all my crazy ass jobs in customer service for the past years. It’s a small office with about 6 people in the office full time and the owners are Christians which is so cool. They establish Christian morals within their company which means a whole lot to me.

No baby news yet, but we haven’t even been trying yet, we have to wait till our insurance kicks in. We were going to wait for Gordon’s to kick in but I found out that my company pays for their employee’s benefits, so I will be waiting till my kick in. Gordon is still planning on doing Real Estate Appraisal in the future and will be continuing his California education in a few months.

We had a great weekend, on Friday night Gordon saw his pal Pat and I hung out with my friend Alex at this cool bar in HB called Johnny’s. Great punk rock dive with Oompa Loompa’s hanging out (Just use your imagination). On Saturday it was off to Murrieta Hot Springs for my friend JudyAnne and Christian’s wedding. It was so great to see them and Pennie and Fran, I haven’t seen most of them in almost 5 years. It was such a blessing to see all of them and hang out. I definitely don’t want to ever lose touch again.

So Gordon and I are settle in now, so please give us a call and we will hang out, I will try to be a better friend and get in touch with most of you also. I am really bad about calling people and I apologize. So until next blog…. Good-day.
