Christmas dun threw up in our house
Our house is festively chaotic right now. Jenn and I had grand plans of starting to decorate on Saturday but Saturday turned into Sunday night. We got the big stuff where it should be and were deciding where to put the rest of the stuff and what else we need to get. I enjoy all this stuff a lot more once it's all set up.
The reason for the decorating delay was because Jennifer's sister and fiancé got a new apartment this weekend. Caleb (the fiancé btw) bent over backwards when we needed help moving into our place so the least I could do was get my unfit ass over there and help. I wasn't feeling good all day and moving really knocked a lot out of me.
I got to see Jason Falkner a couple of Fridays ago. For those in the unawares, Jason was the original guitarist for one of my favorite groups, Jellyfish. The show was awesome. I only recognized five of the songs he played and the ones I didn't know were pretty catchy. Hopefully he will put out a new album soon.
Jenn and I are getting excited about the holidays. We volunteered to host the Christmas Eve dinner for Jenn's family. We've been getting all sorts of crazy ideas for what to serve. I think we've settled on the traditional ham but we're going to cook it a little different. I'm really sad that I don't get to glaze it with a blowtorch though.
Hopefully I'll have some good news pretty soon but I don't want jinx it. And no that doesn't mean we might be pregnant. We may or we may not be, but thats not the news.
