Gordon and Woody Be Blogged

Well for the most part we did it. We've gotten most everything moved into our new place and have started the long ordeal of unpacking.

The original plan was for me to go Victorville Friday night, pick up the truck Saturday morning and pack it with all of our belongings that we stored there, Drive down and unload Saturday afternoon and then unpack Sunday. Thanks to the amazing booking practices of U-haul it was really; drive to Victorville Friday, Get ready to get the truck I rented and find out that they have quadruple booked every truck in Southern California, End up having to have my wife drive a truck up Sunday afternoon and unload Sunday night. Looking back on it now we can say it al worked out but at the time it was very stressful and by Sunday night Jenn and I were mentally and physically exhausted.

Also I'd like to thank everybody that offered to help and stuck with me through all this crap. I've always been the type of person that hates to make plans and then has to change them because of something outside of my control and I felt really bad every time I would have to call and try to see if anybody would still be able to help. So when we finally get settled in at the new house we're going to have everyone over for a BBQ.

As for the new place, Jenn and I finally got to really enjoy it Monday night. The living room is a lot bigger than we thought and actually makes our couches look a little small. We haven't unpacked much yet because we are still packing stuff up at Jenn's parents place, but we have the important stuff now. We're trying to get most everything done by this weekend so we can just veg and enjoy our rediscovered freedom. I'll get some pictures posted once we are finished for all of you out of town folks.
